Do I Know You?

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 22.34

Consider this case ...

Johnny is a worker in this huge company.
It is hard to describe his job apart from the word "Just a simple office worker"
Documenting stuffs, getting tasks from the higher management, getting yelled at, let alone getting punishment for something he should not get.

However, Johnny is a good fellow.
He does not a blackened heart.
He knows that each task makes him learn.
He knows that each yell makes him get new understandings.
He knows that one should behave positively against all odds.
That is him.

He also knows that he is just a simple worker.
However, he wants to do an extraordinary things.

"How?", You may ask.

Simply by encouraging fellow colleagues, the other office workers to strive for the best.
Less complains and more actions.
And not be grumbly but be cheerful.

He is a great friend to hang out with actually.
When you are down, you can just chat with him, and you will be recharged just like the black cat battery, Eveready.

Now, the company faces a crisis.
Each worker is called to have a private discussion (Actually decision about his fate in the company) by the managing director.

People can just see the decision for someone who has finished discussion just by analyzing his expression.
Some are smiling, joyful, singing, jumping around like a little froggy.

while ...

The others are in rage.
Hitting the walls, banging head, and so on.

No one understands the decision.
Most of the workers that they think should survive in the company, suddenly are fired.
It is beyond their understanding.
Why?

Now, it is time for our good friend, Johnny to enter the room.

There are some chairs, but to focus this story, I wont need to describe the content of the room in detail.

The managing director (MD) calls his name.

MD: "Are you Johnny?"
J: "Yes"
MD: "Tell us the reason why I should keep you here?"

And Johnny then start explaining the situation of the company, the drawback and the positive sides as well. All in detail. Additionally, he also mentions that some workers are in need to be encouraged at all times.

And here's the verdict.

MD: "Sadly Johnny. I dont know you. There are many people who claim they should stay in this company. But.. it is just I dont know you."

Surprised, Johnny then tries to mention all the good deeds he has done in the company.

But it has been decided.

And there he goes.. fired.

Friends.. Sorry for being harsh here.

I know, we, as human beings, are just taking good life for granted.
But that is the truth that I cannot denied.
We as humans are able to do good deeds.
But good deeds will not save you.
They will not bring you to the eternity of happiness in afterlife.

There are many other ways that people have tried to accomplish to enter heaven.
Being rich, being generous, becoming famous, doing tons of ministries.

But you know what ?

They are all are NOTHING for God if one does it without relationship to God.

If one has done lots of good things in his life but without God in him, thus he shall prepare for the surprise.
Yes, surprise.. just like the followings.

Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.
(Matthew 25:11,12, emphasis mine)

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Matthew 7:21 [NKJV], emphasis mine)
So, what are you going to do now?

Your life, your decision.

Kind regard,

Ron

Submit

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 19.30

which is translated to 'Berserah' in Bahasa.

It has been years since the first time I submit my life to my Dad's hand.
But shockingly to myself, I understand the point of submission today.

Once I have given an illustration to submit.
It is like you are giving your homework book to someone, but you are not letting your hand off the book. How can that person do your homework then if you dont let him have a COMPLETE CONTROL of your book?

... of your problems.
Being submissive deals with 100%, not 50%, not 99.9%, but it is absolute submission.

Another illustration, imagine you are buying ingredients for your chef friend.
You hand the ingredients to him so that he can cook his best food from your ingredients.
That means you submit your help-i-am-starving problem to your chef friend.
That's submission.

Little do preachers speak about the advantages of being submissive.
One of them is mentioned above already, which is so that the Person is able to control, develop your things (mainly problems if not all) to the best shape.. the best solution.

Another thing is that somehow I started to realize that there is nothing to lose if I am with Him.
Why?

By being submissive, several things that I cannot even imagine nor dream has been added to the parts of my life.. and that's not even because of me asking Him. Remember Matthew 6:33. He just gives me one. No conditions apply.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Now that I have it for free, what if I lose it? It is possible, right?
Hey, if I get it for free, why should I worry about it?
Besides, He is the prima causa.. the cause of everything.
I get my good mark because of Him giving me.
I get my job because of Him giving me.
I get my friends because of Him giving me.
He is free to give, He is also free to take.

However, I am just holding to the promise of Matthew 6:33.
If He takes what He gave, then I believe that means He is going to give something better.. far better.

That's the power of submission

Cool, huh?

Weirdness

During these 2 days,

Several things have happened .. strangely indeed.

1. This white-guy called me and asked me to join his team to be the programmer.. perhaps even the head programmer if I can solve things they cant solve. Hehe.. This is about a company, which is based on my calculation is a promising company which has a big.. no.. huge perspective to go international. Wait a minute! This company is already go-international.
Anyway, thanks Dad!

2. My friend.. silly friend who has no capabilities except bravery (blabbering about things he can do, yet he can't.. sad) asked me to join his company to be (yet another) head programmer to develop websites. Which then could lead to tons of websites as I have been told that the clients are not just medium-sized companies, but also high-levels.. even those related closely to governments. Wooohhh!! Thanks again, Pop!

3. Not about company, just my writing about pirates have been selected to win the competition. Might not be that HIGH-lighted as the competitors are about 5-6. But still.. this is the first time I have won something in writing.. English writing. Sadly, it is just about a game. So instead of winning moneys, I won game items. :( Anyway, at least my writing quality has been classified highly. Hurrah!
Here goes the link:
http://www.voyagecenturyonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15169

These bring back old memories.. :)
Back then, during high school, I am submitting everything to my Dad about my daily life, while I am doing things to make my Dad smiling at me.
As the result.. although I got 6 or 7 or 8 at my exam marks, surprisingly my score hits the top-rank in my class. And that was even the best result I have achieved ever, compared to my previous nerdy studying-freak guy one year before (which only achieved 2-rank)

At this time, starting from that submission.. I have learnt many things about doing things that is beyond, what people call, DREAMS.

1. Back to some years ago, during the Babylon Tower tragedy.. God's promise is that everythings that human plans will happen accordingly.
2. God also says that, we as His princes and princesses, shall not be tails, yet heads. To lead, not to follow.
3. Last but not least is the famous sentence among Christians, is this:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you"

So what can you learn from my stories?
Here goes nothing:

NEVER BE AFRAID OF DOING SOMETHING BEYOND YOUR DREAMS!!

Strive for the best.
And if all seems to go wrong, dont fall behind.
Things will be better and better.. only if you keep moving forward, bros n sis.

God bless you

Kind regard,
me

Most Wanted: Honesty

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 20.26

... continued from 'Between Today and Tomorrow' ...
-- switch to Bahasa Indonesia --

Most Wanted:
1. Honesty

One thing that people is looking for nowadays is honesty.

A romantic couple is often having a quarrel against each other with dishonesty as its foundation.
Based on environmental research, the advertisements placed in electronic or non-electronic media most of the time is filled with lies, just for the sake of the company owner's fatness of the wallet.

What is 'honesty' anyway?
Republika Online mentions, "honesty is the foundation for a nation to move forward".
Albert Hendra Wijaya, the master of Taoism, considers honesty as "to admit, say or give information based on the fact and truth"

As for me, explanation about honesty is as shown below,
Let your yes be yes,
and say no more,
as apart from that cannot be considered as honest.. it is sin too.

That, I just re-tell what my Father has told me.

Is honesty so important in our social life?

Necessary?
The following is the battle between my two similar friends (but not really similar) during my 2-3 years in senior high school. Similar as they are playboys, indifferent in terms as honesty.

Person A

One reason I position this person as one of my featured friends is his honesty.

It is definitely true that this guy will have a big red F mark in norm-ology. How come? Pure playboy! Sometimes I will just fed up with what he says. Well, since this article is about honesty, I will try to mention what he used to talk about (*fingers crossed*). And I ask for your humble apology for this beforehand.

For what he says:
'Amazing body'
'Her size is 30D' (cant tell you what it is, but girls should know)
'Wow, so pretty'

And remember. For his honesty, the followings are also said. Bad things. Bad.
'I wonder if someone will marry her?'
'Which part of her is pretty? So ugly'
'Too bad. Sure she's pretty, but evil'

Not to mention his behaviour. Wow-y.. Jaw-dropping when I saw a girl doing that 'thing' to him, and he retaliate with that same 'thing'. Curious? Sorry, kids. But grandpa can say no more about this. Grandpa might get sued by Unicef.

Even though A seems like a Incredibly Hulky playboy, he has a kind heart.
In addition, I have no doubt in sharing my romantic story with my girlfriend to him.
Imagine you share your romance story to a playboy. Weird, isn't it?
However, he can understand, give support, give me a push.. even give a warning, especially if I walk to far.

Til here.. what do you think?
Do you get his personality? His characters?
If in this moment, A says to you that you are smart, do you believe him?

Person B

Compare A to this playboy. One who does the spiritual activity, but hoping to get a girl as the motivation. That's about him.. playboy B.

As for what he says:
'I have to close to them (girls) because I have to (serve who he worship)'
'Am I handsome?' (asking girls)
'Well, lots of guys chase her, right?' (only a few, including himself for sure)

And for his behaviour..
- He sets a schedule to come to girl A, B, C, D, etc everyday, and weekly.
- Broke his relationship with the current lover, and got another one.
- After getting no luck with this 'another one', he broke again and in 2 months, he was seen close to another girl.

Scary.. or should I say.. gross.
Imagine.. if in this moment, this person is in front of you and say that you are smart, do you believe him?

The fact as the results:

1. Girls enjoy hangs out with A, instead of B.
No girls became the victim of A, but more best girl friends to A.
Wait, dont you think A will victimize those girls? Based on my 3-year-time in high school.. None. He is honest, and everyone knows his heart. Should we worry about him?

More and more girls became the victim of B. And until this time, B is still victimizing more and more girls. (mention the plurality and not singularity)

2. What A says is from his heart, so we believe him fully.
On the other hand, playboy B? His victims, me, and some other has a full doubt to him. Congrats!

3. The funny-yet-shocking news is.. as a playboy, A didn't even hesitate to warn and yell at B to stop doing the spiritual activity as it is simply hypocrite.

Amazing. Playboy warns the other playboy. Incredible. Until now, I still have my respect to A, as I myself didnt have enough courage to yell to B for his hypocrisy like what A did. I just cannot stress my astonishment to his honesty to words. Perhaps it is Wonderfully superb.

- - -

Ok, stop! I am not asking you guys to be an honest playboy. (You !@#$!@#$)
Hamartia man.. hamartia! (Hercules word for 'mistake' or 'missing the point')
Those are just the happy positive part which I can be proud of from A.
Of course there are drawbacks of him being a playboy.. but it is just irrelevant here.
Maybe in future articles, grandpa will tell more bedtime story about this. ;D

Another simple twist about honesty.
Watch how Simon Cowell judge in American Idol.
So harsh, but isn't it true?
'You can't sing'
'I rather do than hearing your voice'
and so on.
Yet, people of his choice are no doubt those with great voice, if not the best.

Honesty is closely related to trust.
The more you being honest, the more people will trust you.
Nonetheless.. ONCE you lie about a thing, they will have a difficult time to trust you again.
Thus, be honest always.
Dont bear false witness to your neighbor.

The big Q:
It's true that one cannot change everything in just one day.
All things need a process.. a process which is started by a mere decision between Yes and No.
Do you want to be honest?

- - -
Recommended Movie
- - -

Have you ever watched Liar Liar?
Fletcher Reede (played by Jim Carrey) is a lawyer and a father of a son, Max, thou he has divorced his wife.
More and more lies, he 'offers' to people around him. Clients, ex-wife, and even his son.
Tired of his father's record of lies, Max in his birthday asks for one wish. That his father cannot like in mere one day.. and this wish is granted by the Creator.

- - -

Before this article turns to be movie-review, allow me to explain my point. You should watch Max happiness when he knows that his wish becoming true. For just one day, he finally experiences having a non-liar-father.

From the child's point of view,
Are you, as your parent's child, happy to have parents who are always honest to you, especially when it comes to promise to take you somewhere, promise to play with you, promise to buy you toys or dolls?

From the parent's point of view,
Are /will you, as a parent (or parent-wannabe), cheat your children by being dishonest, destroying their trust to you as their protector, or even as their hero?

Now, man should be glad that the Father who creates this tiny world is always honest. Never speak nonsense.

One thing remains.. do you believe that He never lies?
Your life, your choice.

Most Wanted: Kejujuran

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 20.17

... sambungan dari 'Between Today and Tomorrow' ...
-- switch to English --

Most Wanted:
1. Kejujuran

Personal A

'Bodinya bagus'
'Ukurannya 30D' (maaf, dunia cewe only)
'Wah ayu tenan' (cantik banget)

Unicef.

Walaupun A terkesan playboy kasaran, tapi hatinya lembut.

Sampe sini.. what do you think?
Apakah Anda sudah bisa menangkap pribadinya? Karakternya?

Jadi.. perlukah cemas?

2. Apa yang A katakan langsung berasal dari dalam hati, sehingga A bisa dipercaya. Sangat bisa. Sementara playboy satunya.. sangat meragukan.

- - -

Ok, sampe sini, bukan berarti saya mengajak Anda untuk menjadi playboy jujur.
Hamartia man.. hamartia!

Semakin Anda jujur, semakin Anda dipercaya.
Sebaliknya.. SEKALI saja Anda bohong, mereka akan sulit mempercayai Anda.
Jadi, bersikaplah jujur senantiasa.
Jangan bersaksi dusta.

Pertanyaannya:

- - -
Film yang berhubungan
- - -

Pernahkah Anda menonton film Liar Liar?

Dia ga pernah omong kosong. Apa yang dia omongkan, selalu ditepati.

Tinggal satu hal.. apakah Anda percaya dengan kejujuranNya?
Hidupmu, pilihanmu.

A waste of life

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 00.10

... jadi ngalor ngidul ga karuan

---

What a waste of life.
Sampe kapan mo begitu terus?
Sampe kapan seseorang mo mencari kesenangan semu terus?

Kesenangan semu.. cari duit.. dapet duit.. ditumpuk.. cari lagi.. dapet.. ditumpuk.
Kapan dinikmatinya?

Who knows?

Sampe kapan mo begitu terus?

Between Today and Tomorrow

Filed Under () By DeepBlue di 15.03

Whenever I think about my future bu$ine$$ company, I always think about the greatness of God. I dream about the money that I can use to bless others. I just cannot wait to see the smiling faces of those who get blessed by us. It is not a matter of arrogance, this is just our passion. It is just the same as feeling proud to make your own kids happy, or making your wife's dream comes true (or your husband's.. :))

Come to think about it, I also have a lot of thought at how my future business success will affect me in worshipping God. I dont think I can handle this explosive-happy feeling inside to bless others. Nope. I cannot handle it definitely. Perhaps I will shout to the canyon (somewhere on Earth), "YESSSSSS!" or I might laugh a lot and then *faints*. To put it simply, I just dont know how to thank you God at that time. Yes, that's what I am thinking in these days.

However, just today God spoke to me in my heart. Just one simple question.
"About My vision that I gave you, Why dont you thank Me now?"

Such a simple question indeed, but it strucks to the very bottom of my heart. *BANG!*

Yes,
Why should I wait until after I become a great person financially?
Why should I wait until I see those smiles?
Why not now?

Be thankful for His vision.
Be thankful for His promise.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For you who experience the same situation where you have got the vision, yet just cant wait to experience it.. remember the promises of God.

1. God never lies

Now that we all know that our God nowadays is the God of Adam, and also the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of David, we know that God never changes. (Exodus 3:6)
Since God never changes, He had to be true to His Words.
He never lies.

2. God always keeps His promise

For sure that most of the time, we have to wait for His promise to be true.
Yet, delayed doesnt mean denied.
God always looks on His own.

3. God always wants us to be success in life

This might be the part that raises the pro and contra.
As Deuteronomy 28:13 says, "The Lord will make you the head, not the tail ..."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now the remaining thing that I have to do is to have faith in all my doings and praise Him for making me successful.. financially and mentally.
